There are no rules that say that foreigners cannot become medicinal cannabis patients in Australia. That said, you would need to see a medical practitioner here in Australia and they would then need to determine your eligibliity for medicinal cannabis.

Your patient status overseas may help them determine if medicinal cannabis is right for you, however, your prescriptions are not transferrable.
